Shipping Manager Needed in Camarillo

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with some overtime required.

Job Title: Shipping Manager

Pay Rate: $30/hour - 32/hour DOE

We're primarily looking for:

· Strong shipping and warehouse leadership experience in a manufacturing environment

• Hands-on experience with domestic and international freight
• Comfort working in an ERP system (M1 preferred)
• A hands-on leadership style
• Our environment includes M1 ERP, UPS WorldShip, and FedEx Ship Manager. Experience with these is highly preferred

Job Description:

· Handle all international logistics

· Manage all domestic LTL shipments

· Maintain proper inventory of all disposable products and supplies for the shipping department

· Perform inspections of completed assemblies and manufactured products.

· Reject subassemblies or finished products as required.

· Conduct and document process and system audits using written procedures as audit standards.

· Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing.

· Assist in the writing and updating shipping procedures, protocol and checklists.

· Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to supervise.

· Work with production management and Quality Assurance to provide feedback to assemblers regarding accuracy of assembly procedures.

· Assists with Inspection of all incoming materials (Purchasing Procedure "Inspector" 5.2 for further details)

Required Skills:

• 3 years of management experience in warehouse shipping
• A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration is preferred
